Battle Mountain Mine.
Update 2008: Two black and white reprints of a wooden mine building with three smokestacks on roof, surrounded by tall evergreen trees. Two women and a man are standing in front of mine and are facing toward photographer. A third man is bent over to the ground at the left of the women. The note on the back of the 8 1/8 x 10 states "Mine in Battle area." The note on the 4 1/8 x 5 1/8" is typed 1904, #15. See photograph #1948.217.0191. They are the same mine: Portland. A large mountain of cordwood is to the back right of photograph. Rocky gully is in foreground. The women are wearing long skirts, jackets and hats. The man looking at the camera is wearing a dark suit and hat. It is unclear what the bent over man is wearing.
