Black & white print attached to dark grey matboard. Image shows an early day main street scene with log, wooden & brick buildings on either side of the rough flat rock strewn road bed. At the far end of the street a large group of men are gathered in a semi-circle with their backs to camera. One man on horseback is seen near the crowd. A large boulder is in the road near the horse. A semi-deforested hill is seen in far background. A two horse (one white, one black) team wagon is at foreground left. A man is seen walking away from it toward the crowd.
Written in blue ink on a 3 story, wood & brick? building Dillion[sic] [Dillon] Hotel Dillon Merc. Co., Main and Second is written at lower left corner.

Good condition. Image is faded. Mat is worn at edges & corners. Mat back has dark smudges & indentions. A small black dot (ink?) is at top center. Print is soiled, primarily at top with various sizes/ types of smudges.Collection
