Battle Mountain Mines. Three women and a man standing and sitting outside of a house at Battle, 1905.
Update 5/2010: Black and white glossy print. Image shows a log cabin with tall paned window on each side of the open doorway. Roof is composed of split logs. Wood planked sidewalk in front of building. A man is standing in doorway with a woman dressed in vintage clothing, apron, and holding a hat is standing close to him. Two other women are at right, both wearing long dresses, skirts and long sleeved tops. One of these women is standing and the other is seated in a chair. A coat jacket hangs on the outside wall of structure at right. Sparse vegetation at foreground.
On back: Typed: 1905 and 6. Written in pencil: "Battle. Battle mtn. Mines." Stamped: Frank J. Meyers. Rawlins, Wyo."
Good condition. Smudges on back edges with other minor soiling. Corners worn. Many crinkles in emulsion, few surface irregularities. Print has slightly curled edges.Collection
