A man shoveling snow outside a house at Battle.
Update 2008: Black and white glossy reprint showing a man dressed in dark pants, medium shirt with bow tie, dark jacket, dark cap and gloves shoveling a huge snowdrift that covered the entire left side of the house up to the roof. He is shoveling out the area from the front door. A wire of some type runs across the front of the photo to the house. Excess line is looped in a loose figure 8 1/w hung on the existing wire. T-shaped pipe is on the roof with wire support on both sides. Evergreen tree covered snowy hills are to the right in background.
There is a blur in the top right quadrant of photograph from the negative process as well as black and white specs. There are white lines on both sides of photo top to bottom and other discolorations. Slight cracking of emulsion, slight wrinkling on edges. Edges of sides have tendency to curl up. Very slight soiling on back.
Handwritten on back is: Battle.
