Photograph, 14" wide X 11" tall, including 1/4" off-white border around all sides. Photograph is of 19 women in white shoes, navy pants with a red stripe down the side, white belts, long sleeved white shirts, navy capes with red silk underneath and red collars with "FOE" on the collars of the capes. Capes are pushed back over each woman's right shoulder to show the red inside, and the capes tie with white cord which hangs to below the waist. The women also wear red silk hats with a blue peaked hats and a white tassle, except the top left woman, who wears a red and white shako with a gold emblem.
The women are arranged in rows, with 9 women in the front row, one woman slightly to the left of center in a middle row, and 9 women in a back row. The woman in the middle row appears to be on a step, and the back row is on a stage, so they are visible behind the front row. The women are all facing to the vieer's right, although some have turned their heads to look at the camera.
There are two large windows in the back, with light yellow and floral curtains, and between the window is a large poster/certificate "saying Grand Aerie - Fraternal Order of Eagles," with smaller text (a list of names?) below.
In the bottom right of the photograph it says "Photo by Meyers Studio Rawlins WYO".
The woman in the top left is the donor's mother in law, Bessie Martin.
On the back of the photograph Bessie Martin's name is written.
The photograph appears to have been colorized after it was taken.Collection
