7.5" wide by 8" tall black and white photograph on 10X12" brown cardboard.
The photograph has 4 people, 3 of them seated, in what appears to be the corner of a patio, outside the front door of a house, with two walls meeting in a V behind the left-most man. That man is an old man, who appears to have gray hair, in a jacket, unbuttoned vest, and shirt, plus pants and boots. He is seated in a wooden chair with rounded arms, and holds a pipe in his mouth. To his left (viewer's right) is a seated woman in a dark dress with a ruffly chest and white jabot. She is holding what appears to be a small magnifying glass/reading lense to look at something in her hands. A pointy boot peeks out from her skirt. Behind them stands a young man with slightly darker skin - possibly Hispanic? He is dressed in what appears to be a uniform - pants, vest, jacket and tie, with large buttons on the cuffs and the vest, and a single dark stripe on the arms, just higher than the cuff buttons. His hair is neatly parted, his arms are crossed, and he is standing with the weight on one leg, the other crossed in front. The final man sits the the woman's left, and is half cut off by the edge of the picture. He wears the same uniform as the standing man, and is reading something in his lap.
The picture is in good shape - light streaking as if something had been dragged across it, but that is barely visible. The brown board is darker around the edges, as if it had been displayed in a frame for a long time. The back side of the board is slightly torn on one side.Collection
