Black & white print of a classroom of young children seated at their wooden desks. The desks are in 5 rows & attached to each other. All the children have their hands clasped together on their desktops. A framed photo of George Washington hangs on the rear wall above blackboard.
Written on back in blue ink: "Found in the old Central School house Rawlins, which was built in 1886, when it was closed for good. Brought to museum by Robert Sullens." "3-Christel Humphreys".

Written on a tiny white sticker on back: School classes.
Fair condition. Print has big tear side left & repaired with tape on backside. Other tears are seen lower edge & side right & left edges. Emulsion has a wavy appearance. Back edges are yellowing.Collection
