Black & white print. Image shows a classroom of young children at their wooden desks. The desks are in 5 rows & attached to each other. A woman wearing a medium colored dress is at rear of classroom. A black board is on entire left wall & rear wall. A multi colored door is at rear side left.
Written on back in blue ink: "Found in the old Central School house Rawlins, which was built in 1886, when it was closed for good. Brought to museum by Robert Sullens." "3-Christel Humphreys".
A small white #472 is at side left. A developing line is a lower edge of print. A Santa Claus is drawn on blackboard by door.
Fair condition. Print is highly cracked with vertical & horizontal lines. Emulsion has a wavy appearance. There are few scrapes in emulsion. Corners & side edges are worn. The side edges curl upward. Back of print is stained at several places.Collection
