10 3/8" wide by 5 3/4" tall black and white photograph in 13 5'8" by 9 1/2" woodem frame with brown matting.
Picture is of a large white building with windows only on the front, at an angle to the photographer. A sign across the front says "UNION PACIFIC COAL COMPANY". There are 5 hitching posts (?) to the left of the building's door. There are darker colored, smaller buildings in the bacground behind the main building on each side. There are telephone or telegraph poles on either side of the building, although it is difficult to see the wires. To the right of the store is a fence and a wagon. One half of the wagon is outside the image.
The photographer appears to have been standing across a dirt road from the building.
In white along the bottom, sstarting near the bottom left corner to nearly halfway across, is written "U.P. STORE, HANNA WYO"
There is some sort of discoloration causing much of the sky and part of the roof of the buliding to be a very light blue, but the picture is otherwise in good shape. The frame has some flecks of white paint, and a hole drilled through the center of both top and bottom. There are several small holes in the paper backing of the frame, and "3000" with the final 00 written smaller as if it is a price written in pencil on the back.Collection
