A black and white three piece panoramic view of Medicine Bow, 1919. Prints are mounted on a rectangular foam core 8" x 41 5/8." The three prints are mounted in linear fashion as a single view. The images are different shades with the center view being darker and the view on the right side being the lightest. Image depicts a early day townsite with multiple buildings, train depot at center left; dwellings, barns, outbuildings, pens, grainery?, water tower? railroad tracks in distance, dirt roads, and treeless land in town and in the surrounding area of the townsite. Side right has a small red x on a building. Written on lower right corner from developing process in white: Medicine Bow, WY May 1919, Dell Bros., Havre, Mont. Images are of good condition. They show the imperfections of the original image. with wrinkle line, black specks, and other defects. The foam core board is worn on all edges with abrasions, smudges, staining and indentions front and back sides.
For some unknown reason someone gave this photo T498. The object number was clearly on it.Collection
