Photo of Roy Jackson and Emmett Bainter taken about 1905.
Update 4/2010: Black and white print. Snapshot. Printed on postcard paper. Unused. Image of four mounted cowboys on a flat prairie. Train with cattle cars, buildings and hills in background. Two men and two boys-man at left is riding the largest horse; the other three appear to be riding ponies; second man from left does not have his feet in the stirrups-the horse is too small for him-and he is wearing a tie. Both of the men are watching the boys at the right.
Written on emulsion surface in blue ink: "[above the head of the man at the left] "Roy Jackson". [Above the head of the man second from the left] "Emmett Baines". [At center bottom] "Taken about 1905."
Printed on back in black ink:" Post Card" "Correspondence Here" "Name and Address here." [square with diamonds in corners and "velox" as sides around] "Place Stamp Here."
Paper yellowed. Back badly soiled. Edge and corner damage. Horizontal crease through center-emulsion cracked. Emulsion cracked in places throughout; scratched and soiled.Collection
