a. A black and white photographic print of a large group of uniformed male cadets sitting horizontally on three rows of steps of a large stone building. There are large columns on each side of the entry way of a porch behind them. Rans is sitting in the back row, first young man on left. Measures 8" x 10." Written on back: "choir"
b. A black and white photographic print of a large group of uniformed young male cadets standing in three informal horizontal rows on the steps of a rock building. There are three cadets standing in front of the young men on the steps. Each of these men has an epee in each hand hanging straight down. There are wide rock bustrades on each side of the steps which adjoin to a decorative feature at side right. A tree covers side left. A large geometric arch is behind the young men. An ROTC flag on a pole is held by a young man at side left front. It is not clear which person is Rans. It may be the young man second from left in the back row. Measures 8" x 10." 1953.
c. A black and white photographic print of a large group of uniformed young male cadets and a man standing in five informal horizontal rows on the steps of a rock building. Four young men are in a row in the front of them on the sidewalk. This photo was taken in front of the same building as listed above. Rans may be the young man in the back row second from left with the close cropped hair. 1953.Collection
