Folder 2, named Jensen Family, contains 13 black and white photographs of the Chris Jensen family. Most photos are in good condition unless listed otherwise.
1.Bird's eye view of early Rawlins. Foreground possible pasture with 4 fenceposts. Behind the open area is a dirt road with telephone poles along edge of road. Streets appear to be unpaved. Old Pen is on photo left, St. Joseph School and Catholic Church is in background right. Central School and the old courthouse is to the left of the church. 4.5" x 2.75."

9. Group of 15 men, women and children. Some are sitting on a sofa with the others standing in a row behind the sofa. Mr. and Mrs. Chris Jensen are sitting in the middle of the sofa. Photo is wrinkled and discolored. 4" x 3.25."
10. A group of 11 people, men, women, and children, standing outside near trees by a street. Seven are standing and five are kneeling in front of them. 4.5" x 2.75." #27 on back.

12. Man seated at desk with a typewriter in front of him. Written on back "Bill Humphreys, Jr. was a HAM radio operator, or could be Russell Jensen, a telegrapher apprentice on 1930 census. (Update 2018: Photo is definitely a telegraph office re: Jim Moench, a 36 yr. retired Western Union Manager in Rawlins. Update 2019: Man positively identified as Bill Humpreys, Jr. by David Peterson.) Telegraph sounders, circuit meters and equipment used to regulate telegraph circuit resistance and current are seen on background shelves. Foreground shows shiny counter. On top of counter at photo right is a display with blank telegram forms. 4.5" x 2.75."
