Sepia print. Snapshot. Image mounted on tan matboard of four men in the opening of a mine shaft cut back into a rocky hillside. Ore cart on a track at center; one of the men is with the or cart. Another set of tracks, lumber & pipes can be seen on either side of opening. Men are dressed in dirty work clothes & wearing hats.

Mounted on acidic matboard. Cut down from original size - edges rough & uneven. White paper residue on emulsion surface just above center. Emulsion scratched & gouged; soiled & liquid damage. Dark accretion in upper left. Back soiled, liquid stained & splotched with black ink.Collection
