Black & white print. Image shows a high railroad bridge with concrete supports across a river. A steam engine, #1822, with approximately nine cars visible is crossing the bridge. Buildings are seen on the upper bank edge of the far side of river. A railroad track is seen running along the edge of the river. A small shallow pool of water is seen in foreground. Lower left corner has a tiny white medallion with the words: J. E. Stinson Artist Cheyenne Wyo written inside it from developing process. Also white print at lower edge: Union Pacific Train No. 4 "Atlantic Express" Fort Steele, Wyo.
Written on back in blue ink: Atlantic Express Ft. Steele Bridge New in 1900 built by Baldwin before 1915 (note: this info probably pertains to the train) Other writing on the back.
Conditions good. There are several wrinkles in surface, indentions, scratches & wear on edges.Collection
