Description

Bird's eye view of Van Tassell, Wyoming. Update 3/2010: Black and white print. Snapshot. Printed on postcard paper, used. Image of a group of buildings laid out on a wide open prairie next to a railroad track. Several boxcars on track behind town. Written on original negative in lower margin: "Birds'[sic] Eye View". "Van Tassell, WYO." Green one cent stamp pasted on back. Postmark: "Van Tassell Wyo Jun 5 10AM [unreadable]." Addressed to Mrs. Pepper Rawlins, Wyo. Message written in black ink. Paper yellowed, back soiled. Edge and corner damage-lower left edge dented, wrinkled and cracked. Tear in top edge at center, surface scratched and soiled.
