Black & white print attached to grey matboard which has been cut off. Image shows an early day small settlement with multiple wooden structures in deep, drifted snow. Evergreens are seen in background. Many medium sized tree stumps are scattered throughout the area. Several objects (unknown) are covered by snow.
A tiny black ink 51 is at lower left corner.
Written on back in black ink: "Winter scene at Battle looking East.
Good condition. There are minor horizontal scrapes across top edge. Light smudges & a tiny black dot at top left.Collection
