3 3/4" x 5 1/4" black and white photograph in a 6" x 9" brown mat.
Photograph shows an old woman seated in a chair, reading a book. The shair is large, wooden, and ornately carved, with a wreath carved in the top, and arm rests. It appears to be dark wood, and shiny.
The woman has her hair pulled back and wears a dark colored dress with patterning around the neck, down the center, and on the sides. She also has a long black necklace. In both hands she holds the bottom of an open hardcover book.
On the mat is printed "Bonnycastle Photo Campbelford", and on the back is written "Your affectionate Mother aged 72 years + 3 months 1915 March."Collection
