8" x 10" black and white photograph. Appears to be the same couple, on the same day, as 2015.1161.7.21, with the addition of another woman.
In the front, an elderly man sits in a dark suit and tie, with a small tie tack, holding a pipe in his left hand. He has classes and a wedding ring. He appears to be sitting on the edge of an armchair. On the left, with her knees just behind the man, is an elderly lady in a skirt suit, with a single strand pearl necklace and earrings that are 3 pearls in a triangle. Between/behind the couple stands a woman in a white short-sleeved dress. She has a brooch on her right side. Her left hand is on the back of the man's armchair, and her right hand is behind her back.
Behind them is an elaborate wall hanging or tapestry with geometric shapes.
Written in white on the bottom left corner is "Robert Berkeley 1968". On the back is "Rendle 1 - for france" and the remains of multiple pieces of tape on all edges.Collection
