Seated in the front row, from l-r are 4 men: A man with a bushy, droopy mustache, a light (but dirty) shirt under suspenders, and dark pants, sitting cross legged, holding a wide-brimmed hat over his left foot; a man in a dark jacke and pants, sitting cross legged, left hand holding his right; a man in a dark shirt and pants with light overalls, with a mustache, with his legs in front of him, knees bent; a darker complexioned man in dark shirt and pants, holding a hat, possibly wearing gloves, with a mustache.

The background appears to be, possibly, a factory or smelting plant - there are 4 oval shaped doors in the wall with large pipes leading upwards. A ladder leans against the wall past those doors, and there are arched openings in the wall further back. At the top, something similar to stage lighting is fixed above.
