6 3/4" x 4 5/8" black and white photograph on 8 3/8" x 6 1/2" black mat.
Photo shows a young man and two young women in front of Osburn Dry Cleaners.
The building has two wide windows around a central door, each of which says "721 Osburn Curtain & Dry Cleaners Cleaning Pressing Reparing/Alterations" and the door says "721". The edges of a striped awning are visible at the top. In the window, a reflection from across the street can partly be read, and seems to say "Parkhill Emporium". No Osburn Dry Cleaners or Parkhill Emporium can be found in museum records, so this may not be Rawlins.
The people stand mostly centered, in front of the door. The woman on the left has a knee length drop-waisted light color dress with a dark tie or loose bow. Her hair is short and stays near her face. Her left hand is in her pocket. The man is in the middle with a button down shirt unbuttoned halfway down, over a undershirt. His hair is parted in the center and his hands are behind hsi back. The girl on the right is in a drop-waisted dress that comes just below the knee, and is flower patterned. Her hair is also short.Collection
