Update 1/2008: Black and white print mounted on dark grey matboard. Image of a family group-five men, three women, and two children. Secondary images of a man (left) a woman (right) in upper corners.
Four men are standing at the back of the group. All are wearing dark suits, white shirts, ties (one is a bow tie). Left man is seated at right end of front row, he too, is wearing a dark suit, white shirt and tie. Women are seated in front row; all in dark dresses and have their hair done up. Older woman has patterned front on dress. Girl in dark plaid dress is standing at center front; woman at left is holding a baby; baby dressed in dark outfit.
Written in blue ink along upper mat margin: "Given by Geo. Baker Encampment Wyo." Written in blue ink along lower mat margin: "Picture taken at Campbell Nebraska. The Baker family-part of the children were Gibbins-as his mother married again." Adhesive label pasted on back: "Baker".
One 3 1/2 x 4 7/8 copy print. Written on back in black ink: "Baker family" "#14". Copy cropped to image only.
Original mounted on acidic matboard. Matboard warped. Edge and corner damage to mat. Portion of mat surface missing from center of top edge. Soiled. Front and back of mat scuffed and scratched. Emulsion surface scratched and scuffed. Slight silvering in darkest areas.Collection
