Black & white print of a snow sail boat. Two tall triangular sails hanging on a mast mounted to skis. Two men are behind, one sitting & one pulling on a rope.
Written on back in blue ink: "An early experiment on building a sailboat to sail on snow. It didn't work as wind pressure on the skis made them bury in the snow. this was a take off on an ice boat but a resounding flop".
In pencil on white adhesive tag: "Logging"
Good condition. Negative anomaly - white spot on top & grey streaks on bottom, irregular emulsion.Collection
