Update 1/2008: Black and white print. Mounted on grey matboard. Image of group of 11 men posed on a raised boardwalk in front of a clapboard building. Signs in windows: "Miners Exchange" "Baker's Place". Men are dressed in suits, casual suits and shirtsleeves. All are wearing hats. One man is on the street at left. Another building can be seen in background at left.
Appears to be a double exposure-ghost images appear on right side of building, center in doorway and left side on root.
Written on back in blue ink: "Miners Exchange. Saloon belonging to George Baker at Dillon Wyo-during the mining boom- about 1906". "Given by George Baker, Encampment, Wyo."
Mounted on acidic matboard. Soiled on back. Edge and corner damage on mat. Front mat and image soiled. Emulsion surface missing through center and in row of dots at lower right. Mat slightly warped.
