Two black & white prints of Old Carbon County Court House. It is a multi-level stone building with widow's walk & three chimneys on the roof. An American flag is flying above widow's walk. Long lines of people are standing to left side, in front of, & continuing to photo right. Many are wearing smaller flags. A few more people are standing in front of court house doors at the top of the steps.
Written on back in black ink: "Old Carbon County Courthouse built in 1882 & situated on the same block as the present Courthouse. This picture was taken in 1898 & was at the time of a celebration in connection with the Spanish-American War".
Stamped in black: "Copy provided by the Wyoming State Archives and Historical Department"

Good condition. Rainbow creasing, liquid spots, wrinkled on top.

Good condition. Emulsion impacted by being written on when under another paper, scratched, edges warn, liquid spots, creased at corners.
