Black & white print. Image shows several groups of people gathered at an area with various structures at side left & beyond the clusters of people. There is some smoldering in the area with smoke rising. A building at back appears to have a steeple. Large pole with crosstie is at center foreground with wires strung across upper left. Printed at lower edge in white print from negative process: Rawlins morning after fire Oct 16, 1906.
Written on large white label attached to back side of print in blue ink: Taken at corner of Fifth & Cedar Butcher Shop, Opera House & other buildings burned. Dr. Osborne's office stands at extreme right of picture. Methodist Church & A. McMicken's home in center.

Good condition. Surface has multiple scratches, indentions, wrinkles, abraded emulsion on edge. There are several developing flaws & tiny white spots & line at lower edge.Collection
