Mrs. Ella (George) Wren. Mr. Wren ran the Ferris Hotel in Rawlins when it was first built. She was the grandmother of Mrs. Eldon Galloway. Update 3/2010: Black and white print. Studio portrait. Full-length portrait of a woman standing in front of a painted backdrop. She is wearing a long dark skirt with accents at hips and buttons on either side of skirt front. Dark fitted jacket with white piping at front on collar and large white buttons. White shirt with high starched collar and dark bow tie. Her hair is pinned up and she is wearing a large plumed hat. She is standing with her hands behind her. Written on back in blue ink: "Mrs. George (Etta) Wren" "Mr. Geo Wren ran Ferris hotel when it was first built-Grandmother of Mrs. Eldon Calloway". In black ink: "N-People II". In pencil: "Page 90 pix 2 4 x 2 44%" In blue-green ink: "2". In pencil on white adhesive label pasted on back: "Wren". Back soiled. Corners cut off. Badly wrinkled and creased. Hole at center; emulsion cracked throughout; dented and slightly soiled.
