UP, N0. 4 Train at Ft. Steele Bridge. Update 2009: Color postcard. Image of a train on a bridge across a river. Coal car has number "1822" in white on side. Another track is running along the river shore at angle to the bridge in the foreground. Buildings on other side of river in background. Printed on upper edge: "No 4 UP train on Fort Steel Bridge, Wyoming". Written in blue ink at top is letter form sender dated June 21, 1907. Written in blue ink along bottom: "U.P. Railroad bridge over Platte River at Ft. Steele, Wyo." Printed on back in green ink at top center: "Post Card" "This Side is exclusively for the address" {Logo of shield with flag and leafy branches} {Vertically up left side} "Barvlow Beas, Publishers, Omaha, Neb". Green 1 cent stamp upside down in upper right corner postmark:"Fort Fred Steele, Wyo 21 1907" second postmark ""Adel Iowa Jun 24 (time) 1907". Address written on back in black ink: "Mr. and Mrs. J.E. Snyder, Adel, Iowa, Dallas Co". Written in blue ink on back: "Given to museum by Mrs.. Sager, Ft. Fred Steel, Wyo." Edges worn, surface missing in places, lower right corner badly bent. Soiled.
