Update 2009: Black and white copy print. Image of a group of 4 men and 2 women, a baby and a dog in front of a clapboard building. Two men and one woman standing on the porch; a woman appears to be holding a small dog or cat. one man astride a horse at right. Man and woman with baby in a carriage are standing with the dog in front of building wall with two large windows. Second porch area can be seen at left. Dirt yard in foreground.
Written on back in black ink: "Officers quarters at Ft. Steel Wyo after it was bought for a house by A.D. Sager and enclosed the porch." "Page 20-No.6".
Update March 2011: Original Post Card Found. Black & white print card. image of a two storey wood frame building that looks like it might be a duplex. On the walk in front are a man, woman, baby in a buggy & a dog. On right, a step above on a porch are two men & a woman holding a dog. A rocking chair is setting on the porch. On photo right is a man on horseback. On background right is a river with hill behind.
Written on back in blue ink: "One of the officers quarters at Ft.. Fred Steele, Wyo - after it was bought for a house by Mr. & Mrs. A. D. Sager & before they enclosed the porches"
In black ink: "This is from Ernest (unreadable) is all these anyway: Carlson"
