A series of black and white copy prints of various scenes, people, and places. Many are in Past Perfect and I will show relationship to that photo rather than reiterate information. Check original donation copy for more information. Copies will be numbered by folder number and designated with numbers 1-12.
1. Same as 1947.002.0034. Black and white print of the Rawlins Passenger Depot. A man in dark suit is standing this side of building with rail tracks in back of building with rail cars on them. Written on back: "built 1901"
2. A black and white postcard of a long train depot with people milling about, a passenger train on the tracks, vintage cars lined up along the curb to the side of the train. A vintage truck with two men sitting on top tank in back with the word "LARAMIE" printed on the side. On back of postcard beneath the Post Card logo in blue script, "White Transportation Co."
3. A black and white postcard of a skull with a wagon hammer through its head. Complete printed story is on back and states it is Harvey Morgan whom Indians killed and skinned, etc. On front in black ink print from negative process: "Copyright 1913 by E. J. Farlow."
4. A black and white postcard photo of a vintage open bus type vehicle with a man sitting on barren ground with snow on ground in areas in background. He appears to be picnicking.
5. A black and white postcard photo of wagon teams coming through on a bridge. A man and a black dog are standing to side right. Written on lower front of card in white ink from negative process: "G" string Jack Ore Team, Saratoga, Wyo. Sanborn 83.
6. A black and white postcard photo of a black vintage car with soft top top? parked in front of a brick building with two windows. Man in car is not identified.
7. A black and white postcard photo of a four seater vintage car with two men in front and two men in back seat. They are parked to the side of a brick building. Pyramid Garage building is seen in the background. Men are not identified.
8. A black and white postcard photo of a vintage flat bed truck hauling large, heavy looking metal equipment of some type. A man in work clothes is standing on the rear of the truck's wooden bumper? Rear wheel outer rims appear to be metal white front tires are rubber variety. A very large drill? with turning wheel attached is at side left in front of a building with a wooden ramp on ground at side of truck.
9. A colored postcard of two vintage cars. Car at top is a 1914 Dodge with man in white suit as driver. A Queen Anne two story house is in background. Car at lower half of card is a 1924 Chrysler 70 Phaeton. There are 4 small flags positioned on the front of the car. In depth information about the cars is printed on back of card.
10. A black and white copy print printed 1/1975 of a seated man with a mustache wearing a Knights Templar uniform replete with sword in hands across lap. His hat with a cross and plume is at photo left on a table. He wears light colored gauntlet style gloves.
11. A black and white copy print of an early day band. Three informal rows of men and their instruments are seated and standing on the steps of the entrance of a building with large printed posters on either side of the doors in background. Sign on right appears to be a woman dressed in vintage clothing with the number 22 at lower right of sign. Some of the men are wearing caps with some type of insignia on the hat at center front of crown.
12. A black and white postcard print of early day storefronts with men gathered round a group of stuffed animals including elk, and a bobcat. Sign over a door reads: "whiskey." Wooden sidewalks and dirt in foreground.Collection
