Update - 2009. Black & white print of early day, birds eye view of Rawlins. Print taken looking east from monument hill. There is a wagon encampment in foreground, area was called Wagon Park. Streets of Front, Cedar, Buffalo & Pine are seen in print interspersed with houses, businesses, church & railroad yards.
Written on back in pencil: "1892" George Batchelder given by a Mr. Fremont - claimed to be grandson of Fremont who explored the west"
In black ink: "1892 copied & mounted"
Blue ink: "Rawlins 2C"
Condition: Good. Creased, scratched, emulsion impacted, grey spots on sky from original negative, top edge worn & bent.Collection
