Flag Raising at Central School taken about 1904.
Update - January 2010: An original black & white print attached to ivory matboard which has been cut off with two copies. Image shows a large multi-storied sandstone structure with large tower with steeple. A tall flagpole is at foreground side left. A very large group of people are congregated on the side of the building on the two different stairway entrances to building & at other smaller groups at various areas. Wooden buildings are seen in background side right. Barren hills are seen in far distance.

Good condition. Many scratches & abrasions. Few black & white specks at various locations. Tiny speck of brown residue top right. Scuffs & small stain on back.

Good condition. Image has blurry effect on it. side edges are irregular from negative.
Copy 2 - 5 x 7". Written on back in black ink. Central school flag raising taken about 1904.
Written on back in pencil: Central School 1895, flag raising constructed 1885, enlarge 1915 & razed in 1962.
Good condition. Print edges & corners are worn & emulsion abraded. Top left has tears & cracks. Lower edge wrinkled. Emulsion has a wavy effect side right.
One scanned copy. Typed across bottom border: "Central School Flag Raising circa 1904 Carbon County Museum All Rights Reserved"
