Union Pacific Banquet. Update 07/07/2008: An 8" x 10" black and white glossy print of a large group of men and women seated in folding chairs at banquet tables which are pushed together, resembling a backward letter F shape, covered with white tablecloths. Two single small square tables are in foreground covered with white table linens. The backs of the folding chairs at this table are covered with white slip covers. Dishes, a newspaper and a document are on table left foreground. Table right foreground has only condiment containers seen on it. (There are no people at these two tables). The people at the banquet tables are all turned around in their chairs facing the camera. The room's walls appears to be white cinder blocks with two linear support beams on left decorated with dark and light square tiles resembling a stacked box look. There are three vertical windows seen at side left of photo. The men are dressed in dark suits, white shirts, and ties. The women are wearing dresses of various tones and styles. An open coat closet is seen in the rear of the room. There are suspended lights with bell shaped? covering fixtures at the ceiling center, hanging in a row. Back of photo has written in black ink: a list of names. Left table (left side) going back House, Jay House, Mrs. Bertha O'Melia, Joe Peverley, Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Crum, Mr. and Mrs. Right side of this table: Welsh, Belle Ryan Right table, inside: Anderson, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Written in blue ink of photo backside: railroad Condition is good with slight soiling on all edges and some wear. Corners are bent and the entire bottom edge of the print is wrinkled. There are many large horizontal cracks in emulsion at top and bottom of print, as well as other irregularities. Unknown residue is seen at two locations at top of print.
