Description

Louis Larsen holding Edith Larsen, Maren Larsen and Morris Larsen. Started sheep business with brothers Jens and Ole in 1890. Two copies Update 2009: Black and white card of a family. Man seated holding an infant. Man has dark hair and mustache. He has on a dark three piece suit, with white shirt and dark tie. He has on dark shoes. Infant has on light colored long dress, with a large collar and long sleeves. She is sitting on right leg of man. His right arm is around her and his left hand is resting on his left leg. There is a wedding ring on his left hand. Standing lady to man's left .She is wearing a long dress. The top is light colored with high collar and lace overlay. There is a lace ruffle down the left front from shoulder to waits. Leg'o'mutton sleeves. The skirt is dark and has a large bow tied at left waist. There is a large wedding ring on her left hand. There is a young boy standing in front of lady. he is wearing a dark suit and white shirt with large collar. The collar extends over shoulders inset on front looks like a bib. Sleeves of his shirt are hanging out of jacket sleeves with a cuff and ruffle above cuff. He has on dark lace up boots. There is fringe hanging from seat of chair, one wood chair leg visible. The floor covering is geometric pattern. Printed in brown ink on bottom left is: A A Brown. Bottom right: Photographer, Rawlins, Wyo. Written on back in black ink: "Louis Larsen holding Edith Larsen. Maren Larsen, Morris Larsen. Started Sheep business with brothers Jens and Ole in 1890." Condition good. Creased and emulsion cracked in upper left of photo. Scratched, corners worn. Copy black and white print. Written in black in on back: Louis Larsen, Morris Larsen, Edith (baby) Larsen. Good condition. Irregular borders.
