2 black and white photos of Rawlins Masonic Blue Lodge marching in a parade. The photos appear to be taken circa 1890s.
Photo 2017.1216.9.9 A: The photo is a wide shot -- showing a line of hundreds of men marching down the dirt street in the middle of Rawlins. The old courthouse with the widow's walk atop it is in the immediate background. In the foreground are the men leading the parade -- two in the front carrying flags, then immediately behind them are men with drums. The photo is glued to a gray frame. Written on the back of the frame: "Rawlins Masonic Blue Lodge."
Dimensions: 8" x 10"
Photo 2017.1216.9.9 B: The photo is much closer to the marchers than the first photo. Roughly two dozen men are seen in the photo. In the far background is the old courthouse with the widow's walk atop it. A white building is in the middle of the background -- it has two smokestacks. On the right side of the picture in the background is a building with "SADDLES" written on one of the windows. Some of the marching men are wearing ladies' hats -- at least two men are wearing dresses. The photo is glued to a gray frame. Written on the back: "Rawlins Masonic Blue Lodge."
