Update - 2009: Black & white print. Cabinet card. Mounted on textured off-white matboard that was almost too small for the print. Studio portrait. Image of five young girls in white frilly dresses; head & shoulders; pose with feathered edges.
Written on back in blue & black ink (original ID mostly gone due to previous removal of tape from back): "1897? " "1st communion Annie Cronion) May Gunning" "15"
Names are not matched to particular girls & other three are not identified.
Printed at bottom border in gold ink (partially obscured by the print): W.T. Johnson Rawlins Wyo."
Mounted on acidic matboard. Back soiled; surface missing from near top & bottom edges - mounting tape removal? Long scratch across center image. Overall scratches & soiled. Small dent in upper edge.
