Tie Drive, early 1900's.
Update 2/2010: A sepia toned print attached to gray matboard of a large group of men standing in a foliaged area with high trees in background and at background left is a teepee. Man on left is holding a vertical long pole. The man next to him has a beekeeper type hat covering his face and holding a newspaper. The men are dressed in work type clothes, and many of the men have on the protective head wear with the covering pulled up to the top of the hat. Three men all sitting o the ground in front of the standing man, one with protective head ware up and one with a cap and one with head ware down covering face.
Written on back in blue ink: "Tie Drive early 1900s. "
Fair condition. Extremely faded. A black vertical developing line at side left; wear on print edges; scratches and indentations in emulsion. Dark scrapes at top right. Mat is soiled with worn corners.Collection
