A black and white print attached to an ivory colored matboard. Image shows an informal 7 row grouping of a young age school class sitting and standing on the front steps of a sandstone school building. Large, dark double doors are closed at the top of the stars. A teacher wearing a long dark skirt and a white blouse with puffy sleeves is standing by the banister with her right arm resting on the pilaster knob.

Condition: Fair. Mat is stained, worn, torn and eroded at several areas. Image is faded. Backside is stained, soiled and smudged. Print has indentations, deep scratch, lifting from mat, heavy fingerprints, scratched and abrasions on emulsion, other flaws seen.Collection
