Color glossy print of a two story white house. Lower level has triple windows on both sides of front door. Two lights are also on sides of door. The concrete steps and door stoop have metal rails on both sides. Upper level has two large windows with shutters and half moon shaped window above them. On photo right is a one level addition that also has four pane shuttered windows. Large evergreen trees are on sides of house. Printed on bottom: "I.J. Rendle Home 1317 West Walnut. I.J. Rendle wed Jesse Denmark at Campbeliford Ontario July 18,1906. He has been living here for twelve years and has secured a big interest in the Rendle Sheep Company. The couple returned to Rawlins, Monday July 29th.

I.J. Rendle is arranging to build a house on the (southwest) corner of Fifth and Spruce. Dan Kinnaman is drawing the plans for it. The house, now on the site is to be "moved back" to Sixth and Spruce.

The Wyoming Supply Company started plumbing work in the I.J. Rendle Home yesterday (Tuesday-March 5th).

"Fifteen new homes being to be built in Rawlins". (Sadly) locations of most of them are not given but the item states that the I.J. Rendle Home is about done.
This last item concerning the construction of the I.J. Rendle house. The new couple moved in during the summer of 1907 and entertained frequently during their first full year of occupancy of 1908.
The Carbon County Journal made no mention of the building of I.J. "Nig" Rendle's house . In fact, they said nothing more about him after announcing on the front page, column 3 of their July 28, 1096 edition that he had wed Canadian, Jesse Denmark on July 18th in
Campeliford Ontario.Collection
