Two black and white prints of a train wreck. Prints are taped together. Top print image of a locomotive leaning and back is entangled with a couple of box cars. Box cars are broke open and contents spilled beside tracks. One is standing on its end with wheels knocked off. Men are standing around the wreckage. A building in the background has a sign: "Lumber and Building Material". Engine identified as X5003. Written on back in pencil: "Engine #5003 9/12/23".
Condition good. Faded. Tape adhesive residue on sides. Size 3 1/2 x 5.
(COPY)One 6 1/2 x 4 1/2 black and white copy print. "289" written in black on emulsion in lower left. Slight corner damage.
2nd print. Image of large crane lifting an overturned box car. Debris litters track area and engine behind car appears to be leaning. Catholic Church building is seen on photo left.
Written on back in pencil "Engine #5003 9/12/23".
Condition good. Faded, tape adhesive on sides. Size 3 1/2 x 5.Collection
