Description

UP Passenger Train employee uniform. Navy Blue wool pants, suit coat, shirt, shoes. Worn in the 1940's. Update 07/17/2008 : A Union Pacific conductor's uniform includes navy blue wool pants, suit coat, vest, shirt, black leather boots, leather belt with Union Pacific belt buckle packed in the textile box. I could find no accession numbers on this donation, but the name C. M. Stamp is on an identification label sewn inside the pants. The belt is unusual in that it has a zipper sewn in on the backside of the belt. Men's work boot, black leather, with lace & hook closure. Good condition, with holes in soles.
