Update 1/2008: Sepia print. Mounted on tan matboard. Image of a group of young men with musical instruments-brass and percussion band. Band director appears to be at center front row with mayor at center back row holding baton. Numbers written on emulsion surface in blue ink. Caption written on lower mat in blue ink: "Early day Rawlins band-" "Given by Joe Tierney".

Mounted on acidic matboard; mat cut down along top edge; edge and corner damage on mat. Image badly faded-edges irregular. Emulsion surface dented, scratched and scuffed; soiled and damaged by ink writing. Center bottom of mat dented and bend; mat soiled and warped.
Second original: 7 1/8 x 9 1/8" Sepia print. Mounted on tan matboard. Written in blue ink on emulsion above or below each man are numbers 1-14. Starting in upper left.

Fair condition. Child's scribbling across back. Mounted on acidic matboard; cut down from original size - edges rough & uneven. Faded. Emulsion cracked in upper left; missing around edges. Corner damage.
One 5 x 7" black & white copy print of second original. Names written on back in blue ink are the same as those on original.
