Dave's Standard Service Station at the corner of 5th and Spruce and a man that built a sign with Quaker State Oil cans. This is Bob Ogilivie. He worked for Dave Rusk at the station.
Update - 2009: Black & white print. Snapshot. Image of a man dressed in coveralls & a cap standing with his left hand on the left of a large sign made from motor oil cans. Sign has been erected on the sagebrush prairie. Exterior frame of sign made from Penzoil cans; message constructed out of Quaker State cans. Sign reads: "Dave's Standard Service 2 miles".
Stamped on back in blue ink: "Frank J Meyers Photographer Rawlins, WYO."
Written on back in pencil: "1940"
Back badly soiled; paper yellowed. Large chunk missing & smaller tear in center right side. Bent & torn from missing area to lower left corner - emulsion badly cracked. Corner damage. Emulsion cracked throughout. Image surface scratched & soiled.Collection
