Black & white print. Snapshot. Image of a modern diesel train with a steam locomotive engine & tender attached to the front. Large number of box cars being pulled behind the modern engine. Steam engine appears to be under full steam - smoke pouring out of stack. #58 on front of engine & side of tender. Train is running down one of a pair of tracks through the prairie. Barbwire fence in foreground.

Back soiled. Yellowed adhesive from transparent tape in corners on emulsion; surface missing in upper right to left. Emulsion cracked in lower left. Edge & corner damage.
One 3 1/2 x 5 1/8 black & white copy print. Written on back in black ink: "Old Engine in 1868" "#7".
