Bar with one patron with a drink. Unknown.
Update - 2009: Black & white print attached to gray matboard. Image is of a man standing at a wooden covered bar in a saloon with his left foot propped on a foot rail with a large glass of beer? in his left hand resting on bar counter. A bartender with a striped shirt & dark vest has a drink in his hand with his back to the mirrored bar. Mirrored backbar behind serving bar with glassed in cupboards on each end containing liquor; glasses stacked on shelf under mirror. Large cupboard on ice box at right. Wood floor; dark splotches on floor in front of men. Mirror on left wall. Sign on back bar: "Drink 15 c 2 for 25 c". There are two metal spittoons on the floor by the foot rail.
Fair condition. Extremely worn mat edges with abraded corners & missing top layer of mat at lower edge. Print & mat have a long vertical crease top to bottom on side left with resulting large crack in emulsion. There are dark smudges on top & side edges. Back of mat is scuffed & worn.Collection
