The Owl Saloon. Unknown location.
Update - 2009: Black & white print attached to a black matboard. Image shows a wooden frame building in center with two smaller buildings on each side, left & right. There is an attached sign at top center front of building which reads Sunny Brook Whiskey A whiskey? bottle is painted on side left and a man pointing to the bottle is at lower right of the sign. Painted on the lower edge of the second story is the Owl Saloon. The lower portion of the store front has a six tall double paned windows & a transom over the screen door at center. A man dressed in a white shirt with long black sleeve protectors & a long white apron over his dark trousers is standing on the wooden sidewalk with his hands on his hips. Sole window on side left with: Drug Store & Store on side right window: Meal 25c Open Day & Night. Dirt street has rocks scattered about on roadway.
Good condition. Slight fading of print. Mat has heavy wear on corners with top layer abraded & wrinkled. Mat backside edges are also worn. Print is scuffed & has a row of dimpling at top right corner. Minor scratches are seen throughout.Collection
