Black & white print attached to taupe colored matboard which has been cut off even with print. Image shows the interior of a room. On side right is a long bank cage type structure with dark cabinets on lower level & open tall cage shield across the top of this long cabinet. There are two long heavy desks with large turned legs with a small raised cabinet work area placed on top of them dividing the work areas at the center of the room. There are two tables in the foreground on which an Underwood typewriter & candlestick telephone with large wicker basket to right. There is a patterned paper ceiling & has a border around the room ceiling/wall edge.
A very large ledger is lying on the left work table with other papers. A young man is sitting at the desk writing. Three other men are standing at back of the room; two have their backs to the bank cage leaning against the counter & one man is standing at the rear of the large desk. A large map of the U.S. hangs on left wall with a clock above it. A large wall safe with door ajar is at rear corner.
Names are written over the men in blue ink. Man on left: James Bennett; E. A. Durrant at table end; F. W. Luckfield next & J. M. Rumsey on right.
Written in blue ink on back: Interior of the First National Bank when it was located in the J. W. Hugus & Co building. This bank was located in the east part of the building & was where the Ferguson Meat Market is now. Other writing is on back.
Good condition. Wear on edges & corners. Surface is slightly scratched, minor stains & scratches. There is a large horizontal crack in print & matboard that extends across complete image.

Typed on white adhesive tag on back: "Interior of the First National Bank when it was located in the J. W. Hugus and Co. Building. This bank was located in the east part of the building and was where the Ferguson meat market now is. Standing from left is E. A. Durant, F. W. Luckfield, & J. M. Rumsey. Young man at the desk is James Bennett"
