Black & white print printed on blue paper attached to tan matboard which has been cut off uneven with print. Image shows an arid flat stoned area with large boulder chunks in a heap next to a duice high pulley device rising out of a small shed. A large square boulder is in the process of being hoisted & a man is standing on top of the boulder holding on to the duice as it is being raised. A dark wooden building with large pipe chimney on it's roof is at photo left. Sagebrush is in foreground.
Written on back in blue ink: Rock from here was used to build many buildings in early Rawlins. Copied Mounted.
In pencil: Sandstone quarry south of town.
Good condition. Top surface has scuffs, large scrape, many tiny stains spots, crazed areas. soiling, fingerprints & scratches in emulsion. Back of matboard has tiny unknown residue spots.
