Sepia toned print mounted on ivory matboard which has been cut off with print edge. A vintage store display shelves are on side left & right walls with long counters & covered round glass display cases on side left & right in front of shelves. The shelves are laden with sales goods. Objects on left shelves are held in different size boxes & clothing textiles on side right. It is unclear what is in display glass cases. A cross bow gas light fixture is at ceiling center. A woman is behind the counter on side left & a man is leaning on counter on outside edge & a man is behind the counter on side right. A sign on the floor, only Rawlins, Wyo is visible.
Written on back in blue ink: Interior of the dry goods section of Kelly's clothing store. Lady clerk behind counter to the left is Lillian Heath Nelson. This was taken around 1885. Copied by State Mounted. Tiny sticker on back: Int. Businesses.
Good condition. Print & mat are cracked at right corner, minor smudges & worn top edge.
