Black & white print attached to a grey matboard which has been cut off even with print. Image shows the interior of an early day clothing store (men's). Shelves of merchandise at right & left walls. A large center aisle display contains a table laden with dark textiles. A large trunk is stored underneath. There are glass display cases side right & a hanging tie display at side right. There are several men milling about & looking at merchandise. Written on print in blue ink are # 1, on right; #2 on left: & #3 on right. A bright gas? lamp is hanging from ceiling at center with another one at rear of store.
Written on back in blue ink: Interior of Rawlins Mercantile Store. Those in picture are: at left, the clerk showing some merchandise is Mr. Walton France, next right, the man wearing a hat is Al Enberg and the man in suit at far right is Mr. Doty. Copied by State Mounted. Yellow sticky note, page 3, picture 2. Other writing is on back.
Fair condition. Print is badly faded. Surface is smudged, several indentions, & minor scratches.
